Recommended Dosage: The recommended dosage of Aimovig is 70 mg injected subcutaneously (SC) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm once monthly. In some patients, a dosage of 140 mg subcutaneously once monthly may be useful. Do not inject this medicine into areas where the skin is bruised, tender, red, or hard.
If a dose of Aimovig is missed, administer it as quickly as possible. Thereafter, therapy can be scheduled monthly from the date of the final dose.
