Inluriyo is an estrogen receptor antagonist used for the treatment of adults with ER-positive, HER2-negative, ESR1-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer (mBC) with disease progression after at least one line of endocrine therapy.

Recommended Dosage:
The recommended dosage of Imlunestrant is 400 mg orally once daily until evidence of disease progression or unacceptable toxicity is observed. Take this therapeutic drug on an empty stomach at least 2 hours before food, or 1 hour after food. Take these tablets at approximately the same time daily. Swallow the tablets whole. It is not advisable to split, crush, or chew the tablets. Pre/perimenopausal women and men should receive a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH) as per the current clinical practice standards.
In case of a missed dose by 6 or more hours or vomits, try to take the next dose the following day at its scheduled time.

• Treatment with Imlunestrant may cause harm to an unborn baby when administered during pregnancy. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during treatment and for a specified period after the last dose. Discontinue Imlunestrant immediately if pregnancy occurs or is suspected during therapy.
• Imlunestrant is not recommended during pregnancy due to potential fetal risk based on its mechanism of action. Animal studies suggest possible developmental toxicity. Pregnant women should be informed of potential harm to the fetus and advised to discontinue therapy under medical supervision immediately.
• It is unknown whether Imlunestrant or its metabolites are excreted in human milk. Because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants, breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment and for at least two weeks after the final dose of Imlunestrant.
• The safety and effectiveness of Imlunestrant in pediatric patients have not been established. This medicine is intended only for adult use in hormone receptor–positive breast cancer. Use in children is not recommended as safety data are unavailable from clinical or non-clinical studies.
• In clinical trials, no overall differences in safety or efficacy were observed between elderly and younger patients receiving Imlunestrant. However, increased sensitivity in older individuals cannot be ruled out. Dose selection should be cautious, reflecting the higher frequency of comorbidities and reduced organ function.
