Voyxact (sibeprenlimab-szsi) is an A Proliferation Inducing Ligand (APRIL) blocker, used to reduce proteinuria in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) at risk for disease progression.

Recommended Dosage:
The recommended dosage of Voyxact is 400 mg administered by subcutaneous (SC) injection once every 4 weeks. Inject this therapeutic drug into the front of the thigh or abdomen. The back of the upper arm can also be used as an injection site in case administered subcutaneously by a caregiver. In case a scheduled dose of Voyxact is missed, administer the missed dose as quickly as possible and then resume dosing every 4 weeks thereafter.

• Treatment with Voyxact 400 mg/2 mL injection lowers immune system activity and may increase the risk of serious infections. Monitor patients for the symptoms like fever, cough, or weakness. Avoid contact with those who are sick and report infection signs quickly to healthcare professionals during treatment period only.
• Because this therapeutic drug suppresses immunity, live or weakened vaccines may not work properly or may cause infection. Discuss vaccination plans with your clinician before treatment. Avoid live vaccines while on treatment unless clearly advised by an experienced healthcare professionals for safety reasons.
• This injection may cause harm to an unborn baby. Do not use it during pregnancy unless clearly required. Women should use effective contraception during treatment and inform their doctor immediately if pregnancy occurs at any time during therapy period.
• It is not known whether this medicinal product passes into human breast milk. Because of possible risks to the infant, breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment and for a period after the final dose as advised by your treating clinician or specialist team.
