SIMLANDI (adalimumab-ryvk), from Alvotech/Teva, is a biosimilar to Humira (and an interchangeable, high-concentration formulation) indicated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, and other TNF-alpha-mediated inflammatory conditions.

Adalimumab-ryvk is a monoclonal antibody that binds to and neutralizes tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), a key cytokine driving inflammation in these autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

• Boxed warnings: increased risk of serious infections (including tuberculosis) and increased risk of lymphoma and other malignancies, particularly in children and adolescents.
• Screen for tuberculosis and hepatitis B before starting treatment.
• May increase risk of heart failure exacerbation.
• Hypersensitivity reactions and injection-site reactions may occur.
