Atriance is a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor used for the treatment of patients with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma whose disease has not responded to or has relapsed after treatment with at least two chemotherapy regimens.
- Patients receiving atriance 250 mg injection should receive intravenous hydration as per standard medical practice for managing hyperuricemia in patients at risk for tumor lysis syndrome.
- Patients undergoing therapy with nelarabine injection should be closely observed for signs and symptoms of neurologic toxicity.
- Patients should use apt contraceptive measures to prevent pregnancy and to avoid breast-feeding during treatment with nelarabine 250 mg injection.
- Administration of live vaccines to immunocompromised patients should be avoided during atriance 250 mg treatment.
- Complete blood counts including platelets should be evaluated regularly while on atriance injection therapy.
