Padcev (Enfortumab Vedotin-ejfv) is a Nectin-4-directed antibody and microtubule inhibitor conjugate used to treat adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer who have earlier received a PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor, and a platinum-containing chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant/adjuvant, locally advanced or metastatic setting.
- Patients with enfortumab vedotin should be monitored closely throughout treatment for skin reactions.
- Closely monitor blood glucose levels in patients with, or at risk for, diabetes mellitus or hyperglycemia. In case blood glucose is elevated (>250 mg/dL), withhold padcev uses.
- Monitor patients for signs/symptoms of new/worsening peripheral neuropathy. Consider dose interruption/reduction of Enfortumab Vedotin-ejfv when peripheral neuropathy occurs.
- Mechanism of action of padcev 30 mg / 20 mg suggests that this medicine can cause fetal harm if administered to a pregnant woman.
